Privacy Policy

We at OpenSpace respect your privacy and take the issue of Internet privacy very seriously. By accepting the OpenSpace Terms of Service (as a user of OpenSpace’s services), you explicitly consent to the collection, processing, transfer, use and disclosure of any information, including personal information which you provide to us as outlined in this Privacy Policy and agree that the terms not defined below have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Service.
As OpenSpace improves its services, we may modify our Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason without giving you prior notice. By accessing and using our App and services following any such modifications, you agree to follow and be bound by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, each as modified from time to time. For this reason, we urge you to check here for updates from time to time.

Personal Information

In order to use this App, we request contact information, such as your name, email address, photos and additional demographic information or such other information we deem relevant in order to enable us to render our service. We use this information to contact users about the services on our site for which you have expressed interest and may also use this information as a user’s sign-in information.

We may share your contact information, photos or any other additional information you have provided to our affiliates or third parties. However, we will only share it to parties we trust, and in situations or circumstances we think necessary. OpenSpace reserves all rights to use any photos taken at any OpenSpace related events at any time. Upon signing-up, you the mentor or mentee acknowledges that all your personal details and photos may be shared to third parties for promotional, business or any other purposes.

Services through OpenSpace

Users provide information during the process of using the OpenSpace service. We break down users of our service into two categories, Mentees and Mentors (you may register as both a Mentee and a Mentor). Mentees must provide financial information such as a credit card number and expiration date in order to pay for and use the OpenSpace service. Mentors must provide contact information, such as name and mailing address, in order to receive their payment from OpenSpace. The information we collect from Mentees and Mentors is to provide users with the best possible service. If we have trouble providing that service, we may use contact information to get in touch with the user.

Mentee-Mentor Communication Using the OpenSpace Service

The main purpose of OpenSpace is to allow registered Mentors to provide Mentees with mentoring services that Mentees need. OpenSpace hosts in person mentoring sessions and scheduling between Mentees and Mentors through its App. In the process, OpenSpace does not disclose the phone numbers, email addresses or full names of its users, nor do we share this information among interacting Mentors and Mentees. OpenSpace does not screen or edit the content of communications between Mentees and Mentors. Such communications are personal and private unless both parties agree to additional distribution. OpenSpace keeps information relayed between the Mentee and the Mentor confidential with the exception of our co-working space partners. No other users of OpenSpace have access to this information.

Your information is stored on our servers internally. Despite preventative security measures taken by OpenSpace, persons may unlawfully intercept, access transmissions or private communications and other persons may abuse or misuse personal information that they collect from our site. Accordingly, OpenSpace is not liable for the improper release or misuse of personal information or private communications.
